PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) through independent third-party certification.

PEFC certificate for DAKO timber products confirms that wood and the products made of this wood come from properly managed forests. A number of requirements connected to a full respect of the principles of forest management based on the ecology and sustainable development is the condition upon which the certificate is granted.
